Announcement & Music Scheduler (iPad) and Announcer Remote (iPhone). Last updated 12 September 2026.
The short version
There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cloud service. Everything you create stays on your own devices and your own network. The developer never receives your data.
What the apps store, and where
- Your schedule and settings — the weekly timetable, quiet days, venue name, announcer voice and preferences. Stored on the iPad.
- Your recordings and messages — announcements you record and messages you type are stored on the iPad, and on the phone that made them. They are played over your PA and shared with paired phones on your own network.
- Your music — music files you import are stored on the iPad and played locally.
- The pairing code — a six-digit code the iPad shows so staff phones can connect. It stays on your devices.
What we do not do
- No accounts, sign-ins or passwords.
- No servers operated by the developer. The iPad is the only server, on your own network.
- No analytics, tracking, crash reporting or advertising.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
Third-party services you may choose to connect
These are optional. If you don't use them, nothing leaves your network.
- Apple Music — if you connect it, playback uses the Apple Music account signed in on the iPad, under Apple's own privacy policy.
- Spotify — if you link an account, the app talks to Spotify's Web API using a token stored on the iPad, under Spotify's privacy policy. You can unlink at any time in the app's settings.
- Internet radio — playing a stream connects to whichever station you chose, the same as opening it in a browser.
- Apple's App Store handles the subscription. We receive no payment details, only whether the subscription is active.
Permissions the apps ask for
- Microphone — only when you record an announcement.
- Local network — so the iPad and staff phones can find each other on your Wi-Fi.
- Media library — only if you connect Apple Music.
Children
These apps are tools for venue staff. They are not directed at children and collect no information from anyone.
